Why the strange mispelled name ? Well, see, I’m a very Nice person, with a pinch of Evil.
I am the same as any of you, an Explorer in the vast world of The Internet, searching for the best and worst of shit out there.
The difference is, I try my best to share what I find with the community.
Do you ? Can you seriously call yourself an Internet Explorer ?
Now, I would like to clarity the term “worst of shit”. I don’t mean lousy websites that are designed poorly.
I am talking about anything I find equivalent to the status of “worst of shit” online.
Like scams, online. Cybercriminals are everywhere, deploying new tricks to manipulate the trust of the public for their own interest. There are websites out there that are designed so professionally you wouldn’t have suspected that it was a scam.
Take www.quixtar.com as an example. Countless of people have fallen victim to their pyramid scheme’s, in hopes of achieving big bucks. There is a big chance that you may be approached in the future.
If there is one reason why criminals have the nerve to do what they do, it is because they have the element of suprise. They are prepared. Therefore our only weapon against them is to be prepared as well. Being vigilant is our best defense.
