It’s awesome that I can search from a wide variety of songs at one place, and there’s no need to download !

Often in life we worry.

And one of the biggest worries we have is really how much time we have left in our lives before we turn into carbons…rotting into mother earth.

Ksolo.com is the world’s 1st online karaoke website. As they claim. I mean, there are many other noobish online karaoke versions out there that look like shit and it was made earlier, but oh well it’s the best so far.

It’s basically a website that you can sign up, sing and record songs, and show it off to the people, all online. The program itself was neat, a song comes with vocal (original song), instrumental and member’s version. The instrumental version is basically the same song without the voice, and that’s for you to fill in !

Did I mention that you can post your songs online for others to judge and rate?
It’s a whole ksolo community out there.

Look at it as an Online American Idol.

However, ksolo isn’t perfect. There isn’t enough songs available, but it’s increasing every day.

And the “TRY FOR FREE” package isn’t really free…after singing like a madman for 7 days and your neighbors starts calling the police to take you out, you are forced to pay for their service.

The price is alright….compared with the value of singing your favorite songs anytime, anyday with the real background music.

Then again, I suspect their originality. Believe it or not, some of the vocal versions are fake !! It was supposed to be an original version from the original artists, but instead it’s just a recording from some unknown singers !!

Take one example, “I want it that way” from Backstreet Boys.
Search it on ksolo and hear the vocal version, and you will hear an asian male voice singing….it sounded like shit in my ears. Now that song’s image is Tarnished Forever in my head. Damn you ksolo !!

And what’s up with ksolo’s banner ??

The main icon is a woman singing, how about the men ?? Does this gives the message we’re incapable of singing ?? Heck the most popular ksolo singer out there is a dude !
Throw away the notion that men are emotionless, people.

It’s currently technorati’s no.1 blog, but that doesn’t mean it has the most readers it’s just probably have the largest number of websites linked to it.

At first glance you see content in the middle with ADS AND ADS AND ADS on the side.

It feels like reading the newspaper with advertisement SURROUNDING the content. A little annoying, but still tolerable. It’s stuff that makes you go boingboing.

In addition, it’s updated like mad it’s impossible to keep up.

The Brain Fitness program, it was featured in reader’s digest.

Note the fact that most of the study involves aged people…. from 70-80 years old.. so when they claim the cognitive status improved by 10 years it really is quite deceiving.
I mean… take a 70 year old and an 80 year old….. are they really that different in terms of cognitive ability ?

I can only imagine the experimental lab…
